Christ is my husband

In that day you will call Me: My husband and no longer call Me: My master. For I will remove the name of the masters from her mouth. Hosea 2:16

Wives, submit to your own husbands as to The Lord, for the husband is the head of the wife (the bride) as also Christ is the head of the church. Ephesians 5:22-23

A master is a boss that when you say its name, you need your mouth washed out. A husband is a devoted, personal friend. Christ is my husband, I am His bride... not weird. My protector, my provider, my best friend, He leads and I am grateful to follow Him. Bringing Christ in as the image for what every devoted husband should aspire to be like is both humbling and impossible without His help. If you long for satisfaction...crowd The Savior...crowd your husband and watch Him crowd you. :) James 4:8, Genesis 18:22-23
