The Word of God is Alive

The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh and there He revealed Himself to Samuel through His word. And Samuel's words came to all Israel. 1 Samuel 3:21, 4:1

For the word of God is alive and active...it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12-13

There is a line in a Petra song that says, "No matter how far away you are, you know it's only one step back." When your Father uses His word to correct you or compliment you on your follow through or lack of it... you cannot buy a clear conscience, yet The Savior paid the price for yours, if you accept Him on His terms. The tragedy is when we refuse to take that one step that takes us back to where we belong with Him. Don't look around, look to Him.
