Do Not Forget This

But my people are lost sheep, their shepherds have led them astray, guiding them the wrong way in the mountains. They have wandered from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place. Jeremiah 50:6-7

He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought all His own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow Him because they recognize His voice....I am The good shepherd. I know My own sheep and they know Me. John 10:3-4, 14

Scriptures like these remind us how important it is to know Who we believe, Who we follow and why. In Jeremiah 50:7 we are told that The Lord is our righteous grazing land. He is not only the best pasture but the safest pasture as well. Spend a little time with anyone who really knows The Christ and you will find that you need what they have and need to know this One they can't stop speaking and bragging about. He is your friend and rest like no other. Don't forget this and don't forget Him because He will not forget you.

Matthew 11:19, 13:54, 1 Samuel 12:21-24, 2 Timothy 2:19, Deuteronomy 4:9

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
