A Price You Can't Afford To Pay

You will bear the consequences of your sins, 40 years based on the number of the 40 days that you scouted the land, a year for each day. Now you will know what it is like to have Me against you. Numbers 14:34

My son, do not take the Lord's discipline lightly, or faint when you are reproved by Him; For The Lord disciplines the one He loves, and punishes every son whom He receives. Endure it as discipline, your God is dealing with you as sons. Hebrews 12:5-7

The beauty is we will always be His children... but what kind of children will we be. The Eternal One is many things, a bad father or a mush god He is not. Do not trifle with His generous love and kindness, there are too many examples of this already. Be different by putting a smile on His face and a skip in His step like Abraham, Moses, Caleb, Samuel, David, Esther, Ruth, Apollos, Mary... and now your name should be here. He paid the price for your freedom, to live with and for Him. Make no mistake you can despise His gift, like Esau. That too is a price you cannot afford to pay.
