A Double Whammy

For what great nation is there that has a God near to it as The Lord our God is near to us whenever we call to Him? And what great nation has righteous statutes and ordinances like this entire law I set before you today? Deuteronomy 4:7-8

Be ready for service and have your lamps lit. You must be like people waiting for their Master to return from the wedding banquet so that when He comes and knocks, they can open the door for Him at once. Those slaves The Master will find alert when He comes will be blessed. Luke 12:35-37

It is not enough to know He is so close, nor is it enough to know His Name and His promises. My question to you and myself is are we excited that He is so close? Are we excited that His Promise has been personally entrusted to us. He places His Promise in your hands, He has given you His Name. He has not forgotten, nor can He ever forget you. You and I are either His Dead man's hand or we are His ace in the hole. Do we make His name The Name of beauty, hope and rest it is or do we profane His greatest gift to us? Ezekiel 36:21-23, Matthew 22:1-6
