The Beautiful Promise

God, His way is perfect; The Word of The Lord is flawless. He is a shield to ALL who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30

Now I urge you to take courage... For this night an Angel of The God I belong to and serve, stood by me, saying, "Don't be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And look! God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you." Acts 27:22-24

In Psalm 119:24 we read where David tells The Eternal One that His commands are his counselors and he loves them. His Words are that and so much more. As we sometimes slog our way through some days, we do well to ALWAYS adjust our focus to align our thinking and our steps according to His word. I love how the Angel is excited to tell Paul the news that God's grace will be shown and extended to those who are assigned to him.

His word is not only true and a promise. His word is His Truth, given to you so now it becomes your Truth and Your promise. If you don't see it and Him in this way, you miss the best part. This is why the people were amazed at The Savior's teaching... He taught as One who knew The One He was teaching about. There is no more of a beautiful promise than His promise to you.

Psalm 5:12, 119:105, John 6:63, 8:32, 36, Deuteronomy 31:8, Matthew 11:28-30

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
