Jesus told them, "Are you not deceived because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God? Now concerning the dead being raised -- haven't you read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him: 'I am The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac and The God of Jacob (Israel)'. He is not The God of the dead but of the living. You are badly mistaken." Mark 12:26-27

Therefore my heart is glad and my spirit rejoices; My body also rests securely. For You will not abandon me to Sheol; You will not allow Your Faiuthful One to see the pit. You reveal the path of life to me; In Your presence is abundant joy; In Your right hand are eternal pleasures... I will see Your face in righteousness; When I awake I will be satisfied with Your presence. Psalm 16:9-11, 17:15

Being mistaken is one thing but when The Prince of Life has to tell you that you are 'Badly Mistaken', that is a rebuke that should shake you to the core. We MUST know the scriptures and the power of God, we must know Him. When you have a living, walking, talking relationship with The Risen Christ, guaranteed, you will know both, the Word and the Power. I love the way the joy of this relationship shines through David's words and life. An example in service and in life that we can all follow. 2 Chronicles 28:1, 2 Timothy 2:15-16 Jeremiah 9:23-24, John 10:25-29

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
