Once when Jacob was cooking a stew, Esau came in from the field exhausted. He said to Jacob, "Let me eat some of your stew," Jacob replied, first sell me your birthright." Look, I am about to die, so what good is a birthright to me? Esau replied. Jacob said, "Swear to me first." So he swore to Jacob and sold his birthright to him. Then Jacob gave bread and lentil stew to Esau; He ate, drank, got up and went away. So Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25:29-34
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; For all are one in Christ Jesus. If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, heirs according to THE promise. Galatians 3:27-29
"You have exalted Your Name and Your Promise above everything else." Psalm 138:2
This is The Father's gift to you... unlike anything else, incomparable, priceless and glorious. No one can take it away from you but tragically, many sell, trade or just walk away from it... from Him. This is your birthright to be treasured and NEVER sold or traded. He has shared His glory with you and promised to never leave you, entrusting His birthright to you as proof. His greatest gift is yours, to do with as you choose, just like Esau, you will treasure Him or despise Him. Choose wisely how you treat, treasure and live His Name and His Promise. This Birthright is your life. John 10:14-16, 17:9, Proverbs 23:23, Exodus 33:13-14, Deuteronomy 30:19-20, Matthew 25:31-46
