Narrow Minded?

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father. His dominion will be vast and the increase of His government and peace will never end... the zeal of The Lord of Hosts will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7

Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction and many go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life and few find it... Jesus said again, "I assure you I am The Door of the sheep." Matthew 7:13-14, John 10:7

Jesus Christ The Savior, Son of The Most High God is "THE", not "a", wonderful Counselor. "THE", not "a" Mighty God. "THE", not "a" Prince of Peace. "THE", not "a" Everlasting Father. He is also "THE", not "a" Narrow gate, and finally He is "THE", not "a" Door (Gate) for narrow minded people like me. We do have the freedom to pick any door we like and to bypass the very exclusive word, "THE", for the very inclusive word, "a", and live accordingly. As always the choice is yours. You will need His company and strength to take and keep this stand, but you will be glad you did. That is His guarantee and if there is one thing I need in life it is His guarantee, not a guarantee. Since He is "THE" and not "a", it seems being narrow minded is a very good thing. Zephaniah 1:4-9, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 43:10-13, John 14:6, Joshua 24:15, Proverbs 23:23

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
