The Only Source

This is the declaration of The Lord, I will be a wall of fire around it and I will be the glory within it.

Zechariah 2:5

Every good tree produces good fruit but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree CANNOT produce bad fruit, neither can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that doesn't produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So you will recognize them by their fruit.

Matthew 7:17-18

In the scripture in Zechariah take the word 'it' and put your name in both places and DO NOT forget that is who He is and what He wants to do and be for you. It is the good tree/bad tree thing that always holds my attention. If I am one of His Good trees, even when I crash and burn, He makes all of this work together for the good. If on the other hand I am a bad tree, even when I feel I am doing really good, none of it is good, it is all bad. We must push to know Him and let nothing and no one stand in your way. We want to make it count for His glory and our good. He must be our only source for any good we do and the best part is everyone else will see the proof. Thank Him today for His wall of protection around you and also for being your only source of glory and good. The only way to do good is to be good but there is no being good outside of and apart from Christ Jesus. Just like He tells us.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
