Don't Do Anything Without This

My people are lost sheep; Their Shepherds have led them astray, guiding them the wrong way in

in the mountains. They have wandered from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place.

Jeremiah 50:6

Come to Me all you who are weary and heavily burdened and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Jesus said again, "I assure you I am The Door of the sheep....I am The Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. A theif comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance. I am The Good Shepherd.

John 10:7-11

One of my favorite things about Christ Jesus, The Savior is, well... everything. When Jesus talks about rest He knows it is something we must have to really enjoy life and He alone holds the key. This is why He tells us that the Sabbath was made for man, not man made for the Sabbath. We cannot properly function without rest. "A Sabbath rest remains for God's people. For the person who has entered into His rest has rested from his own works. Let us then make every effort to enter that (His) rest, so that no one will fall into the same pattern of disobedience." So if I leave home without His Rest, if I step into a new day to prove myself, I am disobedient and will get the proverbial "Bad Monkey stamp". Don't do it. Get your rest, all day and night long by starting EVERY day with The Savior and His rest will accompany you every step of the way. So again, don't leave home, don't do ANYTHING without Him and His Rest as your constant companion.
