Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so you don't forget the things your eyes have seen and so they don't slip from your mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren.
Deuteronomy 4:9
Now the one sown among the thorns---this is the one who hears the word, but the worries of this age and the decietfulness of wealth choke the word and it becomes unfruitful. But the one sown on good ground---this is the one who hears and understands the word, who does bear fruit and yields: some 100, some 60 and some 30 times what was sown.
Matthew 13:22-23
If there is a person who can speak of things slipping from the mind, also about being planted among thorns, that's me and I suspect you could say the same. I love the way The Eternal One shows you and I how to keep from forgetting His Timeless and Priceless Truths and how to be fruitful in all we do in the midst of all this: Teach and share what He gives to you. The key is 'What He gives to you", you have to spend time with Him to get it....A serious win/win, even on a slippery slope. As you know the most effective way to teach is live it out. Ask Him to help you live it out....or be thrown out. No middle ground.
Matthew 3:7-10, 7:13-23, Deuteronomy 32:46-47
