He saturates clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them. The swirl about, turning round and round at His direction, accomplishing everything He commands them over the surface of the inhabited world. He causes this to happen: for punishment, for His land and for His faithful love.
Job 37:11-13
On that day, when evening had come, He told them, "Let's cross over to the other side of the lake." A fierce windstorm arose and the waves were breaking over the boat and it was being swamped, but He was in the stern sleeping on a cushion. So they woke Him, saying "Teacher, don't you care that we are going to die?" He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Silence! Be still!" The wind ceased and there was a great calm. Then He said to them, "Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith?" (Don't you know Me yet?)
Mark 4:35-39
The Savior is The God of Faithful love. Like every real Father, He loves His children, the rub comes in the fact that His children usually do not know Him and therefore do not love Him. Remember perfect love casts out ALL fear. Perfect love can come only from knowing, appreciating and treasuring above all others, the object of your affection. If He is not THE object of your affection, you are harried, harrassed, weary, heavily burdened, unfocused and will suffer as such. Make Him the object of your affection as you enjoy His presence in the storms that you know each day will bring, as you learn to love and treasure your time with Him.
Deuteronomy 32:1-4, Revelation 15:3-4
