For the creation was subjected to futility -- not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it--in the hope that the creation itself will also be set free from bondage of corruption into glorious freedom of God's children. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now. And not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits -- we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.
Romans 8:20-23
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not My ways." For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth, and making it germinate and sprout, providing seed to sow and food to eat. So My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will fulfill what I send it to do.
Isaiah 55:9-11
We all are very familiar with the bondage of sin's corruption. Aches, pains, illnesses, being forgetful, at times thinking and acting out all wrong... it is all part of being His creation and not The Creator. Truthfully at times it is painful. He is ALWAYS good and I am always trying to be and do good, to follow His example. This is why The Savior strongly reminds us, "Blessed are those who are not offended because of Me." I remember teaching a Bible study about this and a woman there asked, "You mean every time I sin, I have to repent and ask Him to forgive me!?" She was exasperated. I told her yes, but only if she wanted to stay on good terms with Him. Many leave Him because their pride and ego are hurt, admitting they are nothing without Him can put them off. Let me say, I am proud to be a charter member of the proverbial 'Bad Monkey Club'. Jesus did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentence. This is the reason I can write to you now. Don't swallow your pride, spit it out and Let's go grab a banana with Christ Jesus:)
Matthew 21:28-32, Job 36:8-12
