The man replied, "If you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us." Then Jesus said to Him, "If you can? Everything is possible to the one who believes". Immediately the father of the boy cried out, I do believe, help my unbelief." Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: Come out of him and never enter him again." Then it came out shrieking and convulsing him violently.

Mark 9:22-26

The Spirit of The Lord God is on Me because The Lord has annointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners, to proclaim the year of The Lord's favor and the day of The Lord's vengeance; To comfort ALL who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion; To give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness They will be called righteous trees, planted by The Lord to glorify Him.

Isaiah 61:1-3

Jesus was plainly offended at the man's insinuation that he was unsure if He was able to help. That is not usually the root of the problem, we tend to put ourselves between Christ and ourselves, seeing ourselves instead of Him, focusing on who we are or are not instead of who He is. As you read Isaiah 61, focus on The Christ's promise and as you step into the world today, remember that He takes each step with you. As you read The Messiah's promises in verse 1-3, Thank Him for calling you, to let Him do all these things through you...beginning today. His vengeance is reserved for the enemy and those who willingly follow him at the cost of their own lives... our responsibility is our relationship with Him and the work and His joy reserved for us in His name... this all hinges on our relationship and the understanding of this relationship with Him. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let anything come between you and He who holds your life and all your ways in His hand.

Daniel 5:22-23, Hebrews 11:1-6

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
