Why do the nations rebel and the people plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers conspire together against The Lord and His anointed one. "Let us tear off their chains and free ourselves from their restraints." The One enthroned in heaven laughs; Then He speaks to them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath....serve The Lord with reverential awe and rejoice with trembling...All those who take refuge in Him are satisfied.

Psalm 2:1-5, 11-12

Then Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one decieves you. For many will come in My name, saying I am the Messiah, and they will decieve many. You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these events are the beginning of birth pains."

Matthew 24:4-8

Well, how are you doing in the storm? Have you noticed that life itself is a storm...a storm by design? Our Savior does His greatest work in the storms of life. I love how He makes this so clear in the book of Job, chapter 36-37: "He covers His hands in lightning and commands it to hit its mark. Ice is formed by the breath of God, and watery expanses are frozen. He saturates clouds with moisture ; He scatters His lightning through them. They swirl about, turning round and round at His direction, accomplishing everything He commands them over the surface of the inhabited world. He causes this to happen for punishment, for His land, or for His faithful love." We dwell in a stormy and restless world as His children, who know, live and showcase His peace, His beauty and the joy of His presence in the very midst of this storm. Always know where you stand with Him. If you do not know that, you do not know Him...fix this today, for your sake and His joy.

Isaiah 8:11-15, Matthew 18:10-14

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
