Ready For A Real Change?

Because God wanted to show His unchangable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of The Promise, He guaranteed it with an oath, so that through two unchangable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us. We have this hope --- like a sure and firm anchor of the soul --- that enters the sanctuary behind the curtain. Jesus has entered there on our behalf.

Hebrews 6:17-20

Because I, Yahweh, have not changed, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed. Since the days of your fathers, you have turned from Me and My statutes; You have not honored Me or kept them. Return to Me and I will return to you, says The Lord of Hosts.

Malachi 3:6-7

You are one of the heirs spoken of here, you are also one of the descendants of Jacob (Israel) spoken of here. Have you fled to Him and seized His Hope because of what He has done for you or are you choosing another? Many promise hope and help, like B.O. and are unable and unwilling to really make any positive change. Any real change hinges on you. As Petra's song reminds us, "Though you've walked ten thousand steps away, you know that it's only one step back." Take that step and live out your return to Him from this day forward. Ask Him to help you make the changes that will help you REALLY return to Him, so He can return to you and get you off the slippery slope you have put yourself on. No pressure but it is all about you and your response to The Savior that will make or break any real change. Ready, or not? Have you had enough? Choose His change today, as always, no one can do it for you, that is His gift to you.

Hosea 5:4, Matthew 13:15-17

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
