Non-Negotiable

How happy are you Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by The Lord? He is The Shield that protects you. He is The Sword you boast in.

Deuteronomy 33:29

After these things I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent. I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again so that all humanity may seek The Lord -- even ALL the gentiles who are called by My name, declares The Lord who does these things, known from long ago.

Acts 15:16-18

I too know all about being happy and really satisfied, because I know I am saved by The Lord and He is the only shield that protects me. He is most definately the ONLY sword I boast in and trust. Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 5:12 and John 1:14 bring this into sharp focus for us. You are saved, protected and armed for service by and for Him... When you meet people, you should be able to see them as one of the, 'ALL' spoken of here. Someone saw you that way years ago, when He sent them to you. Do you see others as a possible point of sale, a burden and a bother or are you able to see them through His eyes? Do not be one of those children of the kingdom The Savior spoke of who are cast into deep darkness with weeping and unfathomable pain and regret. You can still lose this war, 'so that all humanity may, not will, seek The Lord.' They may be waiting on you to do your part. Is your life testifying for or against you? The Savior wrote a book through Dietrich Bonhoeffer, titled, 'Cheap Grace', from the beginning most people have ignored God's call, opting instead to follow the masses. We cannot blame others for our failing to obey The Savior. That decision is ours alone. His offer of life and His standards are personal, crafted with you in mind and will always be, non negotiable.

Matthew 7:13, 7:14-15, 1 Samuel 2:1-9

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
