NEVER Mechanical. ALWAYS Very Personal

Now The Word of The Lord came to him: "This one will not be your heir; Instead, one who comes from your own body will be your heir." He took him outside and said, "Look at the sky and count the stars, if you are able to count them, your offspring will be that numerous. Abram believed God.

Genesis 15:4-5

Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said,"Peace to you." Then He said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and observe My hands . Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Don't be an unbeliever, but a believer... Because you have seen Me you bellieved. Those who believe without seeing are blessed."

John 20:26-29

The Eternal One came to Abram, soon to be Abraham, and spoke to him. Notice He did not send him outside, He walked him outside, had him look up and basically said, "Check that out Abe" and went on to explain how His plan involved him. I find it really cool that we are told that God's kingdom stands firm with this (His) seal upon it, 'The Lord knows those who are His', He knows you my friend, my question to you is do you know Him? He reminds us he has placed and named all the stars, just like you and The Savior shares that He even knows the number of hairs on my head and yours. His seal is on those who are His, He does tell us that all people belong to Him, but do they, you and I honor Him as our Mastter and Father? Remember the words of John The Baptist, "Do not assume or presume to say to yourself, we have Abraham as our father. For I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones." His creation and invitation is never mechanical and requires a personal response. It, like Him, is very personal and the beauty of that invitation is He delivers it to you.

Psalm 147:4, 2 Timothy 2:19

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
