As He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath, a woman was there who had been disabled by a demon, she was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her he called out to her, Woman, you are free from your disability...instantly she was restored and began to glorify God. The synagogue leader was indignant because The Savior had healed on the sabbath. Jesus said, Hypocrites! You untie and water your animals on the sabbath, shouldn't this woman who satan has bound these 18 years, be untied from her bondage? His enemies were humiliated but the crowd was rejoicing.

Luke 13:10-17

Because these people approach Me with their mouths to honor Me with lip-service--yet their hearts are far from Me, and their worship of Me consists of man made rules learned by rote.

Isaiah 29:13

Learning by rote is a poor form of learning, repeated over and over until it is memorized, if we really want to learn it, go out and do it. I love learning at The Savior's feet, be advised though that if and when you do, He will expect you to stand up and step out to share His message of life and love with everyone and anyone He brings you to or sends you to. Our God is The God of living love... always in action. If there is no action, there is no love. We are not to be Jesus roters, we are to be Jesus' Life and Truth toters.

Jeremiah 1:4-10, Matthew 11:28-30

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
