Of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied and not remembered Me, nor taken it to heart? Have I been silent too long so you have forgotten who I am?
Isaiah 57:11
I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a witness and a messenger both of the things you have seen and the things I will show to you. I will deliver you from the people to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sin and an inheritance among those who who are sanctified by faith in Me.
Acts 26:16-18
The command to reach out to others, especially foreigners and strangers with the news and love of new life in Christ, is no small thing. God is The God who hates prejudice. Always remember that as you reach out to others to remember who you work for and answer to...just like those you go to or those who are sent to you. Never compromise your devotion and relationship to Christ as you reach out to them, if you do, you have nothing to offer. The enemy of your soul is a two bit poser who compromised and lost everything. Jesus tells us plainly that His sheep hear, obey and follow Him. All things serve Him, make sure you are one who serves by choice and not by force or default. The next step is yours, always forward, never back. You and your Savior will like that one :)
Job 36:5-13, Acts 2:37-40
satan said, "It is ordinary for those who profess themselves His servants, after a while to give Him the slip and return again to me." Christian responded, "I count that The Prince under whose banner I now stand is able to absolve and pardon me for all I did with you. And besides, oh, thou destroying apollyon, to speak truth, I like His service, His wages, His servants, His government, His company and country better than yours. Leave me alone because I am His servant and I will follow him." Pilgrim's Progress, page 45
