May The Lord My Rock be praised, who trains my hands for battle and my fingers for warfare. He is my faithful love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer. He is my shield and I take refuge in Him; He subdues my people under me.
Psalm 144:1-2
When they heard this, they raised their voices to God unanimously and said, "Master, you are The One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them. You said through the Holy Spirit, by the mouth of our father David your servant: Why do the gentiles rage, and the people plot futile things? The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers assembled together against The Lord and against His Messiah... Now Lord, consider their threats and grant that Your servants may speak Your message with complete boldness."
Acts 4:25-26
I have always thought of battle and warfare as ugly, yet when King David, my father and fellow servant speaks of The Eternal, Mighty One, I live life differently. He knew our God as his fortress AND his faithful love. I do love Him because He loves me first, He reached out to me, now I am proud to serve Him. As Elijah and Elisha, who described themselves by saying, "As The Lord of Hosts lives, I stand before Him." If you can learn to see yourself as His, Only His and that you ALWAYS stand before Him, you will start a new chapter in your life and in His book that He wants to write about you. The enemy's raging and futile plotting will continue until the time appointed. The Savior is not only your provision, He is your identity. God always has and always will honor those who honor Him. Today, stand up and step out with Him. Pray for and share with those He has assigned to you. You are prepped, standing and focused. Enjoy Him as He enjoys you this morning.
Daniel 11:30-32, Ephesians 2:10
I trust that you will find no rest for your feet till you have been the means of leading many to that blessed Savior who is your confidence and your hope.
