Do not let those who put their hope in You be disgraced because of me, Lord God of Hosts; Do not let those who seek You be humiliated because of me, God of Israel. Those who fear You will see me and rejoice, for I put my hope in Your word. Let those who fear You, those who know Your decrees, turn to Me.
Psalm 69:6, 119:74, 79
Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. All of you take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you WILL find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
I want to put a smile on The Savior's face because He always puts one on mine with a peace I have learned to love and depend on. God is awesome beyond comprehension and yet He invites you and I to know Him, to walk with Him, to talk with Him and then to share with others what He has enabled us to know. God has called me and set me apart to represent Him. When people hear and see me, they hear and see Him... that goes for you also, to represent Him, to be a sign and a symbol of and for Him and His blessed name and promise. That should really cause you to be taken aback by His choosing you. From Enoch who chose to walk with and be a blessing to The eternal One... now it is our turn, we are up my friend. Wear and represent Him well and Thank you!!
Galatians 3:27-29, Isaiah 8:18-22
Throughout His ministry, Jesus prioritized time for prayer. One moment He stood or sat somewhere in the midst of a village, teaching and healing the people; The next moment He was alone, outside the village deep in prayer. Being a man of God involves waiting.
Yes, there are times for action, but these are also times for trust and patience.
