Now That's Just Great!

This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people. For what great nation is there that has a god near to it as The Lord our God is to us when we call to Him? And what great nation has righteous statutes and ordinances like this entire law I set before you today?

Deuteronomy 4:6-8

For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants because of Christ Jesus. For God who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness" - He has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:5-6

That really is just great, isn't it? You are part of His nation, you are one of His people. The only really great part of you and I, the only really great part of our nation is The One who made us His Nation and His people. This is why we are told to never take pride in or to take credit for the wisdom, the strength, or the riches we possess, because ALL OF THESE are His gift to us to be used and put into play according to His direction. This is why The Eternal One's judgement was so damning against Israel when the temple became their stronghold, their pride, their joy, the delight of their eyes and the desire of their hearts, instead of the One who makes the temple both holy and beautiful. Do not forget that you also are the temple, His temple, so tread carefully and prayerfully my friend for He is indeed a consuming fire of jealousy, for your worship and devotion. People trigger the countdown to their own oblivion by failing to guard their heart and their focus. Be the example of His greatness and beauty today and you too will say, "Now, that's just great!"

Proverbs 4:20-23, Luke 8:18

I won't be the bondslave of bad habits, I won't have their webs on my toes

From them I will run like a rabbit, till the wisdom of The Savior's Word shows

I will forever love and live His word, above all else, treasure His name

I love His voice that I heard, and now will never more be the same.
