Then Miriam the prophetess went out with the other women, danced and sang with all the

women when The Lord delivered them from the Egyptians, "Sing to The Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea." Then they went into the wilderness of Shur for three days and found no good water only bitter and the people complained... then Moses cried to The Lord and He showed him a tree which he threw into the water and it became sweet.

Exodus 14:20-25

Now may The God of Peace Himself sanctify you completely; May your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. Brethren, pray for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-25

Only The Eternal, Mighty one can sanctify us completely. We ALL struggle against complaining and bitterness even in the shadow of great victories and accomplishments. It is always ONLY The Creator, our Creator, who can show us what to do to not only get rid of bitterness but to allow Him to make us sweet, as He created and intended us to be... like Him. As we yield to His direction and companionship, He alone sanctifies us... completely. It is this complete sanctification that prepares and preserves us for His coming. He calls us everyday to join Him and He will call us one day to leave here to join Him in person forever. We have one obligation in life, and the way we fulfill that is by doing the work He has prepared and earmarked for us to do. "How can I repay The Lord for all He has done for me? I will take His cup of salvation and obey Him in the presence of all His people."

Psalm 116:12-14, Colossians 4:5-6

The Times of December 23, 1807 reported John Newton's death and remarked that his unblemished life, his amiable character both as a man and a minister and his able writings are too well known to need any comment.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
