The Final Call...YOUR ONLY CALL

How can I curse someone God has not cursed? How can I denounce someone God has not denounced... There is a people living alone; It does not consider itself among the nations... Let me die the death of the upright; Let the end of my life be like theirs.

Numbers 23:8-10

At that time some people came and reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrafices. He responded to them, "Do you think that these Galileans were more sinful than all the Galileans because they suffered these things? No, I tell you, but unless you repent you will all perish as well! Or those 18 that the tower in Siloam fell on and killed -- do you think they were more sinful than all the people who live in Jerusalem? No, but unless you repent, you will all perish as well."

Luke 13:1-5

It is The One who breathed the breath of life into you and I, who alone knows and holds the day He has reserved to call us through the (1)door of eternal life or the (2)door of eternal misery. We choose the door we take by the decisions we make in life. As Jacob Marley so rightly surmised as he spoke of the chains and weights he dragged through a dark and miserable eternity , "I forged this chain in life, link by link by my poor decisions and misdeeds... Oh woe is me, I was so blind!!!!" The Savior rebuked Belshazzar, the king of Babylon with these words just before he was ushered through this second door I referred to, "You have exalted yourself against The Lord of Heaven...You praised the gods of silver, gold, bronze, Iron, wood and stone which do not see, hear or understand. But you have not glorified The God who holds your life in His hand and who controls the whole course of your life. Always honor THE ONE who holds the final call, your ONLY call that matters.
