The Good Life? Make It Count!

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land... I have now chosen and consecrated this temple so that My name will be there forever. My eyes and My heart will be there at all times.

2 Chronicles 7:14-16

First of all then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life. This is good and it pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to THE knowledge of THE truth.

1 Timothy 2:1-4

We live in a world of beauty ONLY by virtue of The One who created and sustains it each day. Again the words 'Good' and 'Beautiful' lose all their significance apart from The Creator. The Savior doesn't just want to forgive our sin so we can finally really live, He wants to heal our land as well. He wants to enjoy an eternity of time with His crowning creation, that would be you. He wants to start by giving you... Tranquility, Quiet, Godliness, Dignity, for you and those around you, there is a price, amend your thinking and your ways. These are a great way to start your day. I watched a 3 Stooges short where Moe, Larry and Curly were standing in the U.S. Army inductee line, there was a big sign over the door that read, "Join the army and see the world, or at least what's left of it." How much of God's goodness is left in your life, in your house, in your work ethic and station? You are His temple, your land is His land, make it count. We ALL will answer for how we did or how we did not care for that which was entrusted to us. Only by virtue of our walking, talking, living and loving relationship with Christ do we effect any positive change, all else is counter productive.

Isaiah 26:12-13, John 15:5

My grand point in preaching and teaching is to break the hard heart and to heal the broken one.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
