His Readers, Heeders, Leaders...Friends
Indeed He loves his people. All Your holy ones are in Your hand. They assemble at Your feet, each receives Your words. Moses gave us instruction, a possession for the assembly of Jacob.
Deuteronomy 33:3-4
Just then an expert in the law stood up to test Him, saying, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What is written in The Law?" He asked him, how do you read it?
Luke 10:25-26
I love that The Savior's words are my possession, I am never to be without His words of life, ever! The Lord's instruction for a king over Israel should be memorized and followed by everyone, kings and all others. Again, no downside for those who take Him at His word, EVER. In order to answer The Eternal One's question, we have to read. Then when the poser asks you as it did Adam and Eve, "Did God really say"? We won't have to answer because our life has already spoken loud and clear. God has put you on His Happy list.
Luke 10:21-24
"He is to write a copy of this instruction for himself on a scroll in the presence of the priests. It is to remain with him and he is to read from it all the days of his life so that he may learn to fear The Lord his God, to observe all His instruction and to follow His statutes. Then his heart will not be exalted above his countrymen, he will not turn from this command, to the right or the left." Then He adds in John 15:14 that IF we do what he commands we will no longer be His servants, but He then calls us His friends. It is never enough to merely recieve His word, though to recieve His word is an honor like no other. Read it, live it, love it and lead on as you follow Him my friend!
Luke 10:20-24, Deuteronomy 17:14-20
While much has been written in recent years to try to dismiss the fact that America was founded upon the Biblical principles of Judeo-Christianity, all the revisionism in the world cannot change the facts. His commands and instructions are your life. God always has and always will know and honor those who are His. His lighted city on His holy hill, cannot and will not be hidden. Stand tall and let His light shine today!
