The Day to Remember

Remember this day when you came out of Egypt, out of the place of slavery, for The Lord brought you out by the strength of His hand....on that day explain to your children, "this is because of what The Lord did for me when He brought me out of slavery." Let it serve as a sign for you on your hand and as a reminder on your forehead so The Lord's instruction may be in your mouth.

Exodus 13:3:8-9

For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. It is for freedom that Christ has made us free, stand firm then and do not submit AGAIN to a yoke of slavery.

Matthew 12:34, Galatians 5:1

Remember this day! Do you remember the day when Christ Jesus and His offer of freedom became clear, and that clarity enabled you to say, "I was blind but now I see" ? Like the man whose sight The Savior restored, and later to those who tried to talk and reason him out of The One who gave Him his new found sight all he could say was, "This is an amazing thing," the man told them. "You don't know where He is from, yet He opened my eyes! We know that God doesn't listen to sinners but if anyone is God fearing and does His will, He listens to them. Throughout history no one has ever heard of someone opening the eyes of a person born blind. If this man were not from God, He wouldn't be able to do anything." His taking a stand with The One who stood with Him from birth caused two great things to happen. First he was thrown out of the temple, Second, The Savior came to him so He could see and know the reason for His new found joys: Physical and Spiritual sight. I speak of Him because I CANNOT keep from doing so. If you continually speak of and live His love and His life, slavery will never have a hold on you because He will guard and guide your every thought, step and deed.

Exodus 32:34, John 3:11

"In the spring and summer following, anno 1735, the town seemed to be so full of the presence of God; it never was so full of love nor joy and yet so full of distress for the moral conditions were at an extreme low, as was prevalent throughout most of the American colonies."

Jonathan Edward's journal entry, after preaching in Northampton, Massachusetts

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
