Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand...For I, Yahweh your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.

Isaiah 41:10, 13

Some people were bringing little children to Him so He might touch them, but His disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant saying, "Let the little children come to Me. Don't stop them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. I assure you: Whoever doesn't welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. After taking them in His arms, He laid His hands on them and blessed them.

Mark 10:13-16

To be able to touch others because you care is to raise your life to a new level. We live in a cold, impersonal world and the notion of 'My Personal' space though politically correct? is a sure way to doom yourself and those around you to a miserable life. I am not telling or asking you to change or compromise your standards, I am saying though that I am grateful The Savior does not live by your standards if this is your choice, because that's not living. He sets the bar in life for life you and I, His invitation still stands, "Let the little children come to me." You are His child, so go to Him. Do you go to Him or do you let others keep you away? Follow the leper's example in Matthew 8:1-4: When He came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him, a man with leprosy came up and knelt before Him saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Reaching out His hand, He touched him saying, "I am willing, be made clean." Immediately his desease was healed. Don't let the crowds or anything else stop you.

Proverbs 23:10-12, Luke 10:25-37

"Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for and forgotten by others, I think is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."

Mother Teresa

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
