Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; You who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes come buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me and eat what is good and let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Isaiah 55:1-2
His disciples said, "send the multitudes away so that they might go into the villages and buy themselves food." But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away, you give them something to eat."
Matthew 14:15-16
We all need food to "Feed the Machine", but a well fed machine lacking purpose, direction and the designer's touch to accomplish what He made it for renders it useless and without Him we can do more harm than good. The Savior promises to not only provide for us but also to lead us in the way He has prepared and provided with you and I in mind. Only He can enable us to not only be effective and productive but also good and faithful in our God given course, only under His tutilage and company. That example, His example through us, is His greatest burden of proof. He gives to me, and you, then we share The Light, The Life and The Love with others, those He has given, sent and assigned to us.
Ezekiel 36:23, John 6:27-29
"Aside from revelation, darkness rests upon the world and upon the future. There is no ray of light to shine upon our pathway; There is no star of hope. The Bible has shed a glorious light upon the world. It shows that in the coming day we must answer for the deeds done in the body. It has opened to us a new and living way, so plainly marked out that no one can mistake it. The price paid for our redemption shows the value of our immortal souls."
John McLean (1785-1861) U.S. Postmaster General and U.S. Supreme Court Justice
