I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; The nations shall know that I am The Lord when I am hollowed in you, before their eyes.
Ezekiel 36:23
He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and The Lamb. In the middle of the street and on either side of the river was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yeilding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:1-2
The Savior has given you His name and His promise. We show God to be holy when we live His name and His promise according to His direction. We are a lighted city on a hill and we cannot be hidden, the problem is when our heart is not right, our words are not right and we are seen and heard and we do more harm than healing. We are seen and heard when we act and speak and we are seen and heard when we do not act and do not speak. This great name is either honored or profaned through you and I in both word and deed. Today, make it your goal to make His name the subject of your conversations and set your focus to honor His great name throughout the day, then your words, your actions, your silence and your rest will all glorify and honor Him and be a light and comfort to those around you.
Esther 4:14, Matthew 21:14-16
Charles Finney, one of the greatest American preachers in the 1800s, always demanded a verdict from his listeners with this question, "What will you do with Jesus Christ?"
