I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them and I will put fear of Me in their hearts so they will never again turn away from Me. I will take delight in them and do what is good for them and with all My heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land. For this is what The Lord says: Just as I have brought all this great disaster on these people, so I am about to bring on them all the good I am promising them. Fields will be bought in this land about which you say, "It is a desolation without man or beast; It's been handed over to the Chaldeans." (Foreigners who do not honor or acknowledge The Lord)
Jeremiah 32:40-43 (Isaiah 61:4)
What should we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not! For He tells Moses: I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it does not depend on human will or effort but on God who shows mercy. For the scripture tells Pharoah: I raised you up for this reason so that I may display My power in you and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.
Romans 9:14-17
I keep these scriptures in mind as I intervene with my people and intercede with my Redeeemer for them. We are The Savior's Salt and Light. I keep this scripture ever before me as I consider the world events and leaders and share with others accordingly: 'Men are only a vapor; Exalted men, an illusion.' If you belong to Christ Jesus, keep focused and continue to go about your assigned work. Never losing sight of and always treasuring, Who you really work for, answer to and whose promise you showcase EVERYDAY.
Psalm 62:9, Matthew 5:13-16
"We want in the church of Christ a band of well trained sharpshooters, who will pick the people out individually and be always on the watch for all who come into the place(our lives), not annoying them but making sure they do not go away without having had a personal warning, invitation and exhortation to come to Christ and take Him at His word."
Charles Spurgeon
