Nevertheless, I am continually with You, You hold my right hand. You guide me. As for me, God's presence is my ONLY good.

Psalm 73:23, 24, 28

Lord You established peace for us. All we have accomplished, You have done it for us.

Isaiah 26:12

Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavily burdened and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:27

His name will be (And He STILL is) called, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Your laws endure to this day for ALL THINGS SERVE YOU.

Psalm 119:91

I was sharing with some people at the library yesterday and they were speaking of the troubling events of our day. I reminded them of The Eternal One's promise in Jeremiah 31:35-37 and Galatians 3:26-29. Drawing a clear line between His people and those John the Baptist spoke to in Matthew 3:8-10. I reminded them that if they are a Christ follower, promise treasurer and keeper, that this promise is His gift to them. "Now is the time to stop worrying and to start thanking Him for His promise, The Promise NO ONE can take away." Cecilia stepped forward and said, "Ken, that is so comforting." I told her that only her Father could comfort her like that and now would be a great time to thank Him.

"I have been alternately called an Aristocrat and a Democrat. I am neither. I am a Christocrat. I believe all power... will always fail of producing order and happiness in the hands of man. He alone created and redeemed man and is qualified to govern him."

Benjamin Rush

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
