Unthinkable and Unforgettable

"Who will you compare Me to, or who is My equal?" asks The Holy One. Look up and see: who created these? He brings out the starry host by number; He calls all of them by name. Because of His great name not one of them is missing.

Isaiah 40:25-26

I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me from the world. While I was with them, I was protecting them by Your name that you have given Me. I guarded them and not one of them is lost.

John 17:6, 12

Do not forget that the One who was born in Bethlehem is Lord of all and yet He came to go... and walk the Via Dolarosa with our cross on His shoulders all the way to that 'Hill Far Away' to bring you and I 'Nearer My God to Thee'. "Just as many were appalled at You--His appearance was so disfigured that He did not look like a man, and His form did not resemble a human being... Kings will shut their mouths because of Him, for they will see what they had not been told and they will understand what they had not heard." Always remember that the Babe in Bethlehem came here, for you. Knowing full well what awaited Him and STILL HE CAME... knowing that there was no way to be sheilded from the beatings He took for you and I. "He has committed the message of reconciliation to us... He made The One who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." As troubling as this may be, we are not to merely speak the message, we are to be His message of reconciliation. I don't know about you but that can be painfully troubling for this 'Marred Message'. Nonetheless, I am indeed created, chosen, consecrated and commissioned, like you, BY HIM, FOR HIM and IN Him. What He did for me will ALWAYS be unthinkable and unforgettable to me and I pray the same for you. Merry CHRISTmas!

Zechariah 12:10, 2 Corinthians 5:19-21

"Nothing can damn a man but his own righteousness; Nothing can save a man but the righteousness of Christ."

Charles Spurgeon

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
