Access Granted

Then the Angel of The Lord charged Joshua: This is what The Lord of Hosts says: "If you walk in My ways and keep My instruction, you will both rule My house and take care of My courts; I will also grant you access among those who are standing here."

Zechariah 3:6-7

Everyone The Father gives to Me will come to Me and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out. Jesus said, "Stop complaining among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless The Father who sent Me, draws him. It is written in the prophets: They will all be taught by God. Everyone who has listened to and learned from The Father comes to Me".

John 6:37-45

In Frank Capra's, It's A Wonderful Life, the angel sent to help George Bailey tells him, "You have been given a wonderful gift George, to see what the world would be like without you." It is not so much about seeing the world without me and you, it is ALL about seeing the world without "Christ in you and I, the hope of glory." We have been entrusted with gifts, talents and treasures. It is Christ the giver of these gifts who instructs us how and when to use them. The wonder and beauty of life is only sustained in His presence. Apart from Him I can do no good, so I crowd Him as I read, treasure and share His truth with those around me. He has granted you access today, take your assigned place with Him and let Him comfort and teach you what you need. If you have a complaint, go to Him, only Him, no one else. Take Him into your confidence because He has taken you into His. Take advantage of the access He has given to you. His gift of enabling you to see His plan and your purpose for your comfort and strength and for His joy.
