For The Lord God, The Holy One of Israel has said, "In repentence and rest is your salvation, in quiet confidence is your strength." But you are not willing, You say, "No! We will escape on horses, we will ride on fast horses". But those who will pursue you will be faster.
Isaiah 30:15-16
Then Jesus told them: "A man was giving a large banquet and invited many. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who were invited, 'Come, because everything is now ready.' But without exception they all began to make excuses."
Luke 14:16-18
Can you imagine people asking to be excused from the party of the century? To say they don't need what ONLY THE KING can provide. He offers salvation, confidence, rest, security, satisfaction and strength and yet to say no because you have something better or more satisfying in store? Knowing full well that will make reaping what we sow a very painful experience. We ALL will stand at the crossroads of life and we ALL will choose. Believe it or not, most say no to Him in deferrence to their friend, associates and even strangers. He deserves more than that. Choose your road carefully my friend. Do not forget your Creator, Savior and Redeemer loves you and paid your price for freedolm. Thank Him with the choice that you make at the crossroad.
Jeremiah 6:16-17, Mark 6:31
While "The devil made me do it" will not be a valid defense on judgement day, if more people would believe that the devil is at work in their lives, our prisons would be less full and human suffering would be much less. If potential homosexuals understood the influence of unclean spirits they would be less likely to follow every grimy impulse that comes into their minds. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against demonic personalities. To know this is to be less prone to be a tool of darkness.
