Well Worth Repeating and Talking About

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. REPEAT them to your children. Talk about them (and Him) when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up... Write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of The Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God The Father through Him.

Colossians 3:17

Not only are His words to be an integral part of our lives, He is ALWAYS to be seen and heard in and through us. You will find that some will love this and you and there are those who will hate this and they will hate you because of this and Him. If our focus is correctly fixed and focused, we will be unaffected by this because: 1) We remember being at odds with Him, His message and His people and now are not. 2) We know that our devotion and obligation belong to Him alone. 3) We fear dissappointing Him, making Him angry and being a source of heart ache instead of a source of pride and pleasure for Him above all others, The Only One who takes pride in us and is pleased to have us in His family...forever. Talk His Truth and Walk His Truth...always. There are those who will be offended because of Him and His message (That's you) but to know that He enables you to please Him and be a place where He can rest (His Temple, that is you also), this should trump everything else and any other concerns or objections I have. Today make it your mission to let Him be seen and heard through you coming, going, resting, working, walking and reading. The word ''everything, in Colossians 3:17, means just that, everything. Loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength lets you do everything and anything you want. Be seen and heard today my friend and so will He.

Deuteronomy 28:8-10, Matthew 5:14-16

"No sort of defense is needed for preaching out of doors; but it would need very potent arguments to prove that a man had done his duty who has never preached beyond the walls of his meeting place."

Charles Spurgeon

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
