My brothers who went with me caused the people's hearts to melt with fear, but I remained loyal to The Lord my God. On that day Moses promised me, "The land where you have set foot will be an inheritance for you and your descendants forever, because you have remained loyal to The Lord my God."
Joshua 14:8-9
Summoning the crowd, He told them, "Listen and understand: It's not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man."Then the disciples came up and told him, "Do you know that the pharisees took offense when they heard this statement?" He replied, "Every plant that My heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted. Leave them alone! They are blind guides and if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."
Matthew 15:10-14
The Savior reminds us through Paul that bad company will corrupt good morals. The Eternal One adds to this through Solomon admonishing us to choose our company carefully so we can be good company as well: "A righteous man is careful in dealing with His neighbor and is a guide to him". We are to be The Savior's witnesses and messengers and as such we are devoted to Him as we keep and cherish His company first and foremost, so we can teach and reach out to those He sends to us and those He sends us to . We are very careful and selective about who and what we listen to. Jesus warns us to beware the yeast of the Pharisees. When you let someone or something, counter productive, into your mind and life, it will bear bad fruit, whether it's fear that causes you and others to fear and turn from His command or guidance that will land you in a pit. Keep your focus on Jesus and He will ensure good company and safe travels and keep your loyalty where it belongs.
1 Corinthians 15:33-34, Proverbs 12:25-26
Reach out to and share with any and all you have opportunity to do so with. Choose carefully those you confide in.
