The High Cost of Low Living

If you are righteous, what do you give Him or what does He receive from your hand? Your wickedness affects a person like yourself, and your righteousness another human being. People cry out because of severe oppression; They shout for help from the arm of the mighty. But no one asks, "Where is God my maker, who provides us with songs in the night?... There they cry out but He does not answer because of the pride of evil men."

Job 35:7-11

When The Son of Man comes in all His glory...all the nations will be gathered before Him and He will seperate them one from another, just as a shepherd seperates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on the left... He will say to those on His right, "Come you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world, for whatever you did for the least of these, you did for Me"... He will say to those on the left, "Depart from Me you who are cursed into eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!"... And they shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

Matthew 25:31-40

It is hard for a barefoot hoosier like me to add hardly anything to this except as His messenger and His witness, our lives bear witness to The Creator's love and all encompassing reach through Christ The Savior. Notice that the sheep stand on HIS right and the goats on the left. His love and call is always very personal...that's forever, How cool is that!! I never stand before Him on ANY merit of my own but which side of Him I stand is ALL my own doing and I am expected, called, empowered and commssioned to follow His instruction. Because of Him, I know who I am, I know who I work for and I know what my job is...that is ALWAYS His greatest gift to those who are His, to know Him and to be known by Him. As such you NEVER have to bear the 'High cost of Low Living'. As The Savior drills into me every day, "Apart from Me Ken, you are incapable of doing ANYTHING right." I can't speak for you but I love that part because that makes Him the ONLY reason I don't have to pay the high cost of low living and the reason for my song in the night!!!!
