Let us press on to know The Lord. His coming is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like rain, like the spring showers that water the land.
Hosea 6:3
No one can come to Me unless The Father who sent Me draws Him...Everyone who has listened to and learned from The Father comes to Me... Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.
John 6:44-45, 65
Now that you know that The Father has called you, now what? Many hear His call but most hesitate to answer or just plain refuse. The Valley of Decision that Amos spoke of is still full of multitudes who have heard the Father but refuse to come to Christ, refusing to surrender to Him, many are called but few are chosen. Many decieved and/or forbidden to call on The Name above every other name. If you are one of those who refuses to settle for anything or anyone less than Christ Jesus than you will be one of the few...very few, who have begun to know, show and live a gratitude without borders. Most stop short of pressing on to know The Lord, most have listened but for a variety of reasons, like those invited to the wedding feast of The Lamb, but they didn't want to come. "I am indebted to Him, 'All to Him I owe'. I too have 'tasted and seen that The Lord is good", I too know this happiness David speaks of and this highway I am on will end only when I see Him face to face. Don't settle and don't stay in the valley of decision, do not settle for anything or anyone else...most do. Press on and press through to know Him and find a gratitude without measure and without end.
Luke 14:16-24, Joel 3:14
"I can only show my gratitude for these mercies from God, by a readiness to help His other children and my brethren. For I do not think that thanks and compliments, though repeated weekly, can discharge (free us from) our real obligation to each other and much less those to our Creator."
Benjamin Franklin
