The Proof of Following in The Valley

Even when I go through the darkest valley, the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no danger, for You are with me.

Psalm 23:4

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.

John 14:27

It's easy to read and say many things but we all know that the proof is in the follow through. The Savior tells me every day, just like He told the disciples, 'Follow Me'. When you look at these scriptures we don't think too much about it until we put it into context here. Everyday is a dark valley to us because we don't know what the next minute, hour, day, week, etc hold, the only way we can have any confidence in our day is to follow close to The One who as Joshua reminded our forfathers in Joshua 24:15, 'Choose today who you will serve.' The follow through and the day are made or fall depending on our choice. As in the invitation to the wedding feast and when The Savior beckoned the disciples to shore and they found everything prepared. All is ready, awaiting your response and follow through. Do not forfeit the grace He offers today. Live and share His light and His love today and you will follow close in this valley as you do.

Genesis 4:6-7, John 8:32, 36, 21:5-12

"No educated man can afford to be ignorant of The Bible, its Author and its Truth."

Theodore Roosevelt

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
