They will make captives of their captors and will rule over their oppressors. When The Lord gives you rest from your pain, torment and the hard labor you were forced to do, you will sing this song of contempt about the king of Babylon and say, "How the oppressor has quieted down and how the raging has become quiet! The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked and the sceptor of the rulers. It struck the peoples in anger with unceasing blows. It subdued the nations in rage with relentless persecution."

Isaiah 14:2-7

As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came out of the tombs and met Him. He lived in the tombs...no one was able to restrain him anymore...no one was strong enough to subdue him. Always night and day, he was crying out among the tombs and in the mountains and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and knelt down before Him..."Come out of the man you unclean spirit"...When the people came to Jesus they saw the man who HAD BEEN demon possessed by the legion, sitting, dressed and in his right mind.

Mark 5:2-20

The king of Babylon here represents any and all who oppose themselves by opposing The Master of ALL who are free. Christ came expressly to bring freedom to the captives and put the angry captors back where they belong. He has no equal and all things serve Him. The enemy is always angry and hates any and all who taste The Savior's freedom because then it's reign of terror is over in that life. Saturday I had a few jehova's witnesses try to 'tag team' me in a store, a very crowded store, a place where The Savior does His best work in me. I told them, "Listen and understand, the ONLY ONE who is going to show and tell me how to live for Jesus The Christ and sustain this rest and life I know, is Jesus Himself, I am His. You despise His word, His company and His freedom to follow a group of men who tell you what to believe, what to do, when to do it, what to read and where to go. The Jesus I know has no use for those who despise Him and teach others to do the same." Enjoy being His Peacemaker today as He turns others back to Him, through you.

Psalm 34:7-9, Jeremiah 17:5, Matthew 23:10, John 10:1-5,

Every police officer leaves the police academy with what it will take to be an effective officer. The list of the qualities of a good officer is lengthy:

1) Common sense

2) Patience

3) Good communication skills

4) Knowledge of the law and department policies

5) Remaining calm under stress

6) Quick thinker

7) Honesty and integrity

8) Good attitude.

Remember to pray for, support and thank your policemen for their service.

You my friend are His peace maker, commissioned like Joshua to lead. He will always lead, you follow. Remember, decisions are easy when you know what your values are:)

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
