My people are lost sheep' Their shepherds have led them astray, guiding them the wrong way in the mountains. They have wandered from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place...their righteous grazing land.
Jeremiah 50:6
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. ALL OF YOU take up my yoke and learn from Me because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves.
Matthew 11:28-29
If there was ever a scripture that defines the days we have been entrusted with, Jeremiah 50:6 pretty well sums it up. The Savior though is never idle in the face of the enemy's abuse of His people and it's refusal to release the prisoners. He came to set the captives free, but there is no freedom to be found outside of Christ Jesus. That is no place for you... you and I have a place not only registered but reserved for us, here in His harvest, there in His house yet both in His kingdom. You have come to Christ Jesus, now tell any and all who will listen, to accept His invitation or miss it all. In missing it and Him, will entail getting used to the anger, the unceasing blows and never being able to return home. Christ Jesus is The Only Door to your registered and reserved place of rest.
John 14:1-3, Isaiah 14:6, 17
"Speaking with a woman after a car accident and recovery from her coma, I asked her if there was anyone she knew before the accident that she recognized after the accident, Her answer hit me like an electric shock. "Yes, only one person. God. Before the accident, I prayed a lot, I went to church and got to know who God was and what Christ is all about. When I was in my coma, I felt His presence. He was there. He was right there with me. When I woke up, God was the only one I knew at first. Everyone else seemed as strangers." People need God for two reasons: They need help and they need hope.
