Your Work

In those times there was no peace for those who went about their daily activities because the residents of the lands had many conflicts. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every possible distress. But as for you, be strong: Don't be discouraged, for your work has a reward.

2 Chronicles 15:5-6

As they were saying these things, He Himself stood among them. He said to them, "Peace to you! Why are you troubled?" He asked them, "And why do doubts arise in your hearts?"

Luke 24:36-38

Your work and mine are set in these troubled times we have been placed in and prepared for. When you find yourself in front of those who are troubled, weary and unsettled, always remember who you represent and do not forget the One who is standing with you and who promises to never leave you so you can complete your work. Thank Him for His peace in the midst of the storm. Each day I ask Him to turn my people, who are His people, back to Him and "Here I am send me." Everything and everyday is His. Every person you meet is His. Your message is His... this is why we are not to be discouraged. Speaking with a man yesterday, he was upset because I told Him Christ Jesus was standing with me. I told him that his refusal to take The Father and The Savior at His word is what is causing the turmoil in his life and I refused to argue over his stand on it not being true. You know who you work for my friend, you know His voice and you know your work. Give unbelief and the misery that accompanies it no place in your life. He does indeed hem you in before and behind, so you can stay focused on Him, His Promise and your work.

Genesis 18:19, Ephesians 2:10

"An adventure is an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered. I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder and awe."

G.K. Chesterton

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
