Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes human flesh his strength and turns his heart away from The Lord. Blessed is the man who trusts in The Lord, whose confidence indeed is in The Lord. He will be like a tree planted by the water: It sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn't fear when heat comes and its foilage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.
Jeremiah 17:5-8
He will repay each one according to his works: Eternal life to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory, honor and immortality; But wrath and indignation to those who are self seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness; Affliction and distress to every human being who does evil, first to the Jew but also to the Greek; But glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, first to the Jew and also to the Greek. There is no favoritism with God.
Romans 2:6-11
TGIF/TGIP: Thank God it's Friday/Thank God it's Payday puts a smile on many faces. Each of us has a Friday coming, a payday that was ALWAYS intended to put a smile on our Creator's face because it puts a smile on ours. He is good and loves giving good things to His children. The catch is our pay is ordered by us, by how we live. Reaping what we sow is a beautiful thing when we order our steps according to the savior's direction, but never for those who disregard and despise His loving counsel. The only thing worse than being where we don't want to be, is being where we don't belong. Jesus calls you and I, He leads the way, our job is to follow Him. I have been where I did not belong and was in turmoil until He brought me back home with Him. Now I guard my focus and crowd Him at every step unwilling to be a lost stray again, plus I realize others are following me as I follow Him. Be the man or woman you know He has created and called you to be.
Psalm 32:6-11, Galatians 6:7-8
"It's very sobering to find how many people whom I would presume to be saved feel little or no urgency regarding their spiritual condition, the condition of the church or that of our nation. I once thought the battlefield was 'out there' among those rejecting Christ, I see things differently now. The front line of the battle is in the hearts and minds of God's people."
