Your Promise Because of His Promise

What more can David say to You for honoring Your servant? You know Your servant Lord, You have done all this greatness, making known all these great promises because of Your servant and according to Your will. Lord there is no one like You and there is no God besides You as all we have heard confirms.

1 Chronicles 17:18-20

For His divine power has given us everything required for life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in The Divine Nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires.

2 Peter 1:3-4

Promises... we all love good promises when they are kept. A good promise unkept though, can be a source of great disappointment, pain and anger. Many children from a broken home are themselves broken when a parent doesn't keep their promise to pick them up and spend one on one time with them. But that same promise kept brings a greater joy than words can convey, knowing that we belong to and are loved by another because they keep their promise. You are proof of The Savior's promise each and every time you share His love, His hug and His time through your love, your hug and your time. You and I keep our promise because He ALWAYS keeps His. He keeps His promise because you are His. His great and precious promise is His will and gift for you, His precious servant. His great and precious promise lived out through and by you, is to be His joy, the proof of His promise that the world needs and longs to see.

1 Samuel 15:29, Romans 8:19-23

"May our sin of worry be forgiven, O Father, for we have doubted Your Power and Your goodness too often. Shake our souls this day with Your power and as we contemplate the awesome magnitude of the world to be, let our spirits grow in stature and in power. Help us to live as Your sons, as free men in Christ and His promise and so prepare the way for the gathering of the nations into Your family."
