Seek the welfare of the city I have sent you to. Pray to The Lord on its behalf for when it has prosperity, you will prosper.
Jeremiah 29:7
First of all, then I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all Godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:1-4
In 2 Chronicles 20:21, 26, we are told certain people were appointed to sing before The Lord's army, "Give thanks to The Lord, for His faithful love endures forever", they were assembled in the Valley of Beracah which is the Valley of Blessing. This praising The Savior is a joyful obligation for us and in so doing, literally translates us, where ever we are, into The Eternal One's Valley of Blessing. This is why we are told to remember whose we are, we are here, by and because, of His design. Live out your joyful obligation today by telling Him "Thank You" and encouraging someone else to do the same. Pray for your family, city and leaders or become a bad example for people to see why it is not a good idea to be, "Too Busy to answer and obey The Savior's call and instruction." Read Psalm 40:7-10 and focus on living that out today and fulfill your joyful obligation. Prayer and praise go hand in hand, so fill your hands my friend!
Psalm 40:7-10, Hebrews 10:24-25
"Training. You know the drill. Do it over. Do it again. Keep doing it until it becomes a part of you. General Quarters sounds again. Is it real this time or just a drill? Preparation and vigilence is the way of life for sailors and soldiers. It is the key to victory and to survival in battle. Jesus is the Son of God! Get to know Him. You know the drill. Learn more about Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Preparation, diligence and vigilence is the way of life for Christians."
