The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday. But the way of the wicked is like the darkest gloom; they don't know what makes them stumble. My son, pay attention to my words; listen closely to my words, don't lose sight of them keep them within your heart. For they will be life to those who find them and health to one's WHOLE body.
Proverbs 4:18-22
Remember your leaders who have spoken God's word to you. As you carefully observe the outcome of their lives, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Don't be led astray by various kinds of strange teaching; For it is good to be established by grace and not by foods, since those involved in them have not benefited.
Hebrews 13:7-9
The way The Savior shows us is that the BEST diet is the diet of 'Doing the right thing', healthy eating and moderate exercise play their part but we live in a world where most are deluded into believing that eating the right food will make us better in God's eyes. Always The Trendsetter, Christ Jesus Himself reminds us that it IS NOT what goes into a person that makes them acceptable or unacceptable in His eyes, it is what we do, how we think and how our thinking makes us treat others. I personally hate religion but absolutely Love The Savior. If your relationship with Christ doesn't make you want to help others know Him better, than you don't really know Him. He emphatically reminds us that our following Him is NOT rules but a one on One daily walk and talk with your best and only true friend. Do a self check today, of you and your path, before you set out.
Isaiah 58:1-12, Matthew 15:8-9
"I have felt His hand upon me in great trials, and submitted to His guidance, and I trust that He shall further open the way, I shall be ready to walk therein, relying on His help and trusting in His goodness and His wisdom. I know there is a God and that He hates injustice and slavery. I see the storm coming and I know that His hand is in it. If He has a place for me and I believe He has, I believe I am ready."
President Abraham Lincoln, May 1854
