The Highest Calling

I will cut off from this place every vestige of baal, the names of the pagan priests along with the priests, those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the heavenly host; Those who bow and pledge loyalty to The Lord but also pledge loyalty to their king; Those who turn back from following The Lord, who do not seek The Lord or inquire of Him... He has consecrated His guests.

Zephaniah 1:4-7

These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from Me. They worship Me in vain, teaching as doctrines, the commands of men... Every plant that My heavenly Father didn't plant will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them alone! They are blind guides and if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.

Matthew 15:8-14

If you are interested in seeing The Eternal One's disdain and contempt, mix His Truth and His Wisdom with some of the world's snake oil elixir, (the world's version of truth and wisdom). I know though that you, like me, are called to bring joy to Him, your people and to know His satisfaction and rest. Remember, He stands alone, He does not need your help to do His job but He has graciously invited you to ride along. His Name, His Promise and His Company are still and always will be your highest calling. If you have chosen to ride with Him, only Him, as your absolute Lord, Savior and Master, you will enjoy the ride!

Proverbs 3:1-12, John 14:6

"He is your Savior, Lord, Life Giver, Protector, Provider, Counselor, Sustainer and Redeemer. He knows everything about you, even details you don't know about yourself. Because The Lord is omniscient and omnipotent, He always knows what is absolutely best for you. And because He loves you, you can count on the fact that He will faithfully provide it for you. Friend, you can trust Jesus to guide your steps!"
